Brand & product

For cafés, studios, offices, workshops and anywhere else with a team: one shoot instead of three separate ones.

Brand & product

9 000 ₴

You receive — your space with people in it, your team at work, portraits made in your own interior, about six product or menu positions.

Two layers: 100+ frames, every one colour-corrected — enough to keep a feed running for months — and 30 of them fully edited, for the places where a picture has to carry weight. Full resolution.

How it runs — this is your place living, not posing: the room and the people are shot as they are, on an ordinary working day, and only the product is set up. Space first while it is quiet, then people, then product, all in the same light. Most people do not enjoy being photographed at work; more than twenty years of portraits is what makes that part go quickly.

From you — the list of positions agreed beforehand, product ready at the agreed time, a quiet window, one person on site who can make decisions.

Team portraits for up to 8 people; larger teams quoted after a short call.

You receive — the room and the scale of it, people working and talking unposed, speakers and panels usable for press, portraits caught along the way.

Two layers: 100+ frames, every one colour-corrected, and 60 of them fully edited. Full resolution.

How it runs — I work close but unnoticed: the frames worth having happen once people stop registering the camera.

From you — the programme and the key people, where the photographs will be published, one contact person on site, access fifteen minutes before the start. A black-and-white edit of selected frames if you want it — say so beforehand.

A hotel room shot as a staged interior

Interior & Exterior

For restaurants, hotels, offices and any space that has to look right: the whole place, staged and lit.

Interior & Exterior

11 000 ₴

You receive — wide frames with the geometry held, zone by zone: entrance, main room, bar, private areas, plus material and fixture details. 40 fully edited frames, full resolution.

Enough for a mid-sized restaurant or one floor of an office. Hotels and larger properties are quoted after a call.

How it runs — this is staged work, not reportage: each frame is set up, lit and cleaned. On a tripod, with the time of day chosen for the windows rather than for convenience. Where people should appear in the frame, they are placed and directed.

From you — access at the agreed time, the space set and cleaned the way you want it seen, someone who can move furniture and switch the lighting, a list of the zones that matter most.

Anyone appearing in the frames — staff, models, guests — is arranged by you. Without them the shoot still runs; the rooms simply come back empty.

    Stunning reportage and breathtaking portraits

Due to my profession, I work with many photographers, but Tata’s ability to capture the moment is exceptional.

An empathetic professional who deeply understands her subjects.

I highly recommend Tata. We've collaborated on multiple projects, including events for Z-bébé and a portrait series for Ecole Française du Caucase.

Working with Tata is a pleasure. She makes communication effortless and captures exactly who you are in the moment.

WHO'S BEHIND THE CAMERA

My name is Tata Melnyk. I came to photography from live television. At a Ukrainian TV channel I worked as a satellite coordinator for live broadcasts — booking satellite time, working with the engineers in the OB vans, keeping journalists on schedule for going live. A live broadcast cannot be reshot, so schedule and delivery are not negotiable for me. After that, account management in telecom.

I started shooting in 2003, on film, alongside that first job — and never really stopped. What I am after is the live frame: the moment people forget the camera is in the room. Everything else on this page is built around getting to it.

Based in Kyiv, fluent English.
